There is another authentic hadith of Abu Daud's story where the Prophet was asked why not set maximum profit (controlling profit rate). Then Rasulullah said, it is a 'tyranny' for the traders. Of the two examples above, based on valid arguments, we find that we can increase the profitability of a product sales up to 100%. The only thing that is forbidden is to hide the human needs of the goods at a sudden request, and resell when the price is increased. Or when the leader (government) sets a matter, then we are obliged to obey it. So, to the traders, let's look at examples of the ways of the business of the Prophet, that would be rewarded for following His Sunnah.
